- Discovery Engine: The core component that analyzes data between multiple data sources
- Discovery Studio: Graphical environment that displays information about data sources, structures, and mappings, as well as actual data
- Discovery Server: Manages users, Discovery Engine activity, and the repository interface
- Repository: Holds Exeros Discovery™ objects such as data objects and table maps
- Interface Factory: Creates transformations in specific integration technology formats and standards
- Staging Database: Database holding both Exeros Discovery™ working tables and cross-reference tables
- Cross-reference Tables: Tables generated by Exeros Discovery™ to contain lookup values that logically connect two data sets
- Reports: HTML and Excel metadata reports that document discovered metadata and data maps and transformations
