Exeros Announces Industry's First Product to Automate Discovery of
Source-to-Target Data Maps
SANTA CLARA, March 19, 2005 – Exeros today announced the release of Exeros DataMapper -- the industry's only software product to accelerate data integration by automating the discovery of source-to-target data maps and transformations, and to speed deployment of projects such as application integration, legacy and migration, data consolidation, and data warehousing.
Industry analysts estimate that 70% or more of the time and effort of data integration projects involves the manual definition and implementation of business rules to map, transform and integrate data.
DataMapper has two main components: Mapping Studio, a graphical user interface for data analysts to view data, maps, and transformations discovered by DataMapper and to edit, test, and approve any remaining data maps, and Discovery Engine, a scalable, high-performance engine that automatically discovers data maps and transformations
Using DataMapper results in lower costs, faster deployment, and greater completeness and accuracy for data integration or application deployment projects.
