Exeros Announces Significant Flobal Expansion Fueled By Growing Demand for Exeros Datamapper Software

Market Demand for Exeros DataMapperT Prompts the Hiring of Additional Sales Staff, the Opening of New Offices and the Signing of two New International Reseller Agreements

SANTA CLARA, May 31, 2006 Exeros™, Inc., the leader in automated data relationship discovery, today announced that as part of its corporate expansion it has hired new sales staff, opened new sales offices, signed two new international reseller agreements and hired Tom Osborne to fill the newly created position of vice president of alliances.

As a direct result of sales momentum for its Exeros DataMapper software, the four-year-old Exeros has hired five new salespeople, opened new sales offices in Minneapolis and New York City and has finalized reseller agreements with IntoDQ and Management Information Principles (MIP) to distribute the DataMapper product line in Europe and Australia respectively.

"We've solved a 40-year-old problem and the market has noticed," said Piyush Gupta, co-founder and chief executive officer of Exeros. "Since the beginning of this year, we have seen tremendous interest in Exeros DataMapper because it radically decreases the risk, time and costs involved with discovering data relationships and mapping data for large-scale integration projects. To support this demand, we have increased our company footprint by adding new distribution channels, expanding our senior management team, putting more ‘feet on the street’ and opening new sales offices. These developments will help us meet the growing demand for our data mapping software."

The company developed Exeros DataMapper to map data and discover data relationships the same way data analysts do in the real world – by examining data values. Exeros DataMapper software analyzes the actual data, not just the metadata, and identifies the “hidden” relationships between data residing in disparate databases and applications.  The Exeros approach delivers significantly more comprehensive and accurate data mappings, while providing guided analysis and an intuitive and familiar graphical interface.

"Bringing Tom Osborne on board is another key milestone for Exeros," Gupta added. "Building alliances with large data-integration vendors and other partners is critical to our business success, we believe Tom is the ideal person to fill this important role in our company.”

The company has also received a very positive response to the strong market opportunities around data governance and data integration projects.  As a result, Exeros recently announced an alliance with Informatica Corporation, in which Exeros DataMapper can be used to help customers migrate from hand-coded data integration processes to the Informatica PowerCenter platform.  For more information on how the technology works together, visit: http://www.exeros.com/html/news_and_events.asp.
