The Exeros Sensitive Data Discovery (SDD) Module extends the core Exeros Discovery platform to work specifically for an SDD project. Discovering hidden sensitive data is different from other discovery projects and requires a specific process when using the Exeros Discovery platform. We have taken the best practices and methodology applied by our consultants using Exeros Discovery for SDD projects and codified the methodology directly into the module. The result is a discovery product optimized for the kinds of issues that arise specifically during an SDD project.
This SDD module provides specific project templates which:
- Preset the discovery thresholds at levels proven to work best for finding sensitive data hidden in structured data sources
- Optimizes the discovery process for finding hidden sensitive data
- Generates sensitive data reports that highlight the columns and data values that are identified by Exeros Discovery as sensitive fields
